US Ambassador Pays Last Respects to Late Nembang

US Ambassador to Nepal, Dean R. Thompson, expressed his condolences by paying his last respects to the body of the late Constituent Assembly Chairman and CPN-UML Vice Chairman, Subas Chandra Nembang.

On Wednesday morning, Ambassador Thompson visited the UML party office in Chyasal to pay his respects to Nembang’s body. The former Speaker and Constituent Assembly Chairman, Subas Chandra Nembang, passed away due to a heart attack at 3 am on Tuesday.

Nembang had been rushed to the Teaching Hospital at 1:50 PM on Monday but, unfortunately, doctors declared him dead at 3 AM on Tuesday. The late leader will be cremated with state honors at Pashupati Aryaghat at 11 am on Thursday.
