Warning from MP Suwal: ‘History Shows Leaders Can Be Shot Down by Their Own Guards’
Prem Suwal, a member of parliament from the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, has urged the Prime Minister and Ministers to remain cautious.
MP Suwal issued this caution during the House of Representatives meeting on Sunday while discussing the ordinance to amend the Financial Procedures and Financial Accountability Act 2076.
“Remember that there are many examples of PMs and Ministers being shot down by their bodyguards for committing acts of treason. Be cautious,” said MP Suwal.
He emphasized the importance of exercising caution, particularly in matters of national significance, urging leaders to prioritize the welfare and interests of the Nepali people.
Furthermore, MP Suwal expressed skepticism towards foreign investment, stating, “There is no humanity for the investors from imperialist and capitalist countries. Inviting investors to Nepal is akin to inviting rulers to exploit the Nepali people. It is just like selling the country.”
