15th Nepal-EU Joint Commission Meeting to Address Bilateral Relations
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the convening of the 15th meeting of the Joint Commission between Nepal and the European Union (EU), scheduled to take place today.
In a press statement, the Ministry outlined the agenda of the meeting, which will focus on various aspects of bilateral relations between Nepal and the EU. Discussions will encompass cooperation in regional and multilateral issues of mutual interest.
Leading the Nepali delegation will be Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, while the European delegation will be headed by Paola Pampaloni, Deputy Managing Director for Asia and the Pacific of the European External Action Service.
The upcoming meeting follows the recent gathering on March 6, where the Sub-Commission on Development Cooperation between Nepal and the EU convened at the Ministry of Finance. During this session, discussions centered on ongoing development cooperation initiatives between Nepal and the EU.
The Joint Commission meeting serves as a platform to strengthen diplomatic ties, foster collaboration, and address key areas of cooperation between Nepal and the European Union.
