Chair Nepal Affirms Government’s Commitment to Combat Corruption and Ensure Prosperity

In a recent address at a program organized for the installation of newly elected members of the party’s district committee in Kavrepalanchwok, Chairman of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Madhav Kumar Nepal reiterated the government’s active endeavors towards fostering prosperity in the nation. He emphasized the government’s staunch commitment to launching initiatives aimed at curbing corruption, underlining the critical importance of this effort.

Chairman Nepal underscored the necessity for unity among all communist parties in light of the evolving context, which demands fresh perspectives and progress. He disclosed insights from a high-level meeting involving prominent leaders such as CPN UML Chair KP Sharma Oli and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, where they explored avenues for further collaboration, particularly in light of upcoming by-elections.

Dr. Gangalal Tuladhar, Deputy General Secretary of the party, urged party leaders and cadres to engage actively in public outreach, emphasizing the significance of raising public awareness about party initiatives. He highlighted the role of such efforts in strengthening the party’s organizational structure.

Similarly, Sabitra Bhusal, Chair of the party’s Bagmati Province Committee, urged the newly elected office bearers to prioritize efforts towards enhancing party organization.

The newly elected 57-member committee, formed through the 10th district convention under the chairmanship of Basundhara Humagain, reflects inclusivity by incorporating members from minority groups, Dalit communities, and individuals with disabilities. This move underscores the party’s commitment to represent and serve diverse segments of society.
