CPN (Maoist Center) Reshuffles Office-Bearers’ Responsibilities

CPN (Maoist Center) has announced a series of changes to the roles of its office-bearers. The party’s Chairman, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, revealed these changes during a central committee meeting.

The key changes include Janardan Sharma, Deputy General Secretary, taking on the role of in-charge for Bagmati Province. Barsha Man Pun, another Deputy Secretary General, has been assigned the responsibility of overseeing the Special Province. Additionally, Devendra Poudel, Secretary of the party, has been appointed as the in-charge of Madhesh Province.

The reshuffle also extends to other provinces, with Matrika Yadav assuming the position of in-charge for Lumbini Province. Sudurpashchim Province will now be under the leadership of Dilliram Acharya, while Lilamani Pokharel has been entrusted with Koshi Province. Chandra Prakash Khanal will lead Karnali Province.

These changes come after Ganesh Shah, Ram Karki, Hitman Shakya, Hitraj Pandey, Chakrapani Khanal, Kali Bahadur Malla, and Khagraj Bhatt held various responsibilities in Madhesh, Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim Provinces, respectively.

Sources within the Maoist Center have hinted at further impending changes to the roles of other office-bearers. The party appears to be gearing up for a broader restructuring as it navigates its political path.
