Govt Declares Public Holiday for Eid ul-Fitr on Thursday

The government has declared Thursday as a public holiday in celebration of Eid ul-Fitr. Rudra Prasad Pandit, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, issued a notice on Wednesday confirming the decision.

The holiday aligns with the information published in the Nepal Gazette on March 16. This move aims to allow citizens to observe Eid ul-Fitr without hindrance, fostering inclusivity and respect for religious diversity within the nation.
