High-Level Meeting between COAS Prabhuram Sharma and Chinese Military Delegation at Jangi Adda
A courtesy meeting took place between Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Prabhuram Sharma and Major General Yue Ande of the Tibet Military Command of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army at Jangi Adda (Nepali Army HQ) today. The meeting, held in the office of the COAS, focused on matters of mutual interest and cooperation.
A delegation consisting of eight members from the Border Defense Team, led by Major General Yue Ande, arrived in Nepal today. The team received a welcome from Major General Sagar Bahadur Thapa at Tribhuvan International Airport.
According to Nepali Army, during their five-day visit, the delegation will explore various military units, as well as historical and touristic sites including Sri Sainik Command and Staff College and Sainik Museum in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
The Nepali Army views this visit as a crucial step in enhancing the harmonious and robust relationship between the two countries. Additionally, the visit is anticipated to contribute to the promotion of Nepal’s tourism industry, further solidifying the ties between the two nations.
