PM Dahal and Oli Reach out to Madhav Nepal’s Residence, Urge Joining New Coalition

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli made a historic visit to the residence of CPN-Unified Socialist Party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal. This visit marks a pivotal moment in Nepali politics, as it signals a potential reconciliation between factions that have been at odds since the split in the UML.

Chairman Oli’s visit to Nepal’s residence holds particular significance, as it is the first time he has done so since the schism within the UML. Sources close to the former Prime Minister’s Secretariat revealed that during the meeting, PM Dahal and UML Chair Oli extended an invitation to Nepal to join the newly formed ruling coalition.

Accompanying PM Dahal were prominent UML figures including Vice-Chair Bishnu Prasad Poudel and General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, indicating a unified front in extending this invitation to Nepal. However, it’s important to note that Unified Socialist Chairman Nepal is currently recuperating from illness.
