President Administers Oath to Newly Appointed Minister Anita Devi

In a solemn ceremony held at the President’s Office, Sheetal Niwas, President Ramchandra Paudel officiated the swearing-in of Anita Devi as the Federal Affairs and General Administration Minister. The event, which took place on Monday, marked the formal induction of Minister Devi into her esteemed role.

The Constitution of Nepal mandates that newly appointed Ministers receive the oath of office and secrecy from the President, a pivotal constitutional tradition that underscores the official commencement of their responsibilities. In accordance with this tradition, Minister Anita Devi participated in the swearing-in ceremony, solidifying her commitment to uphold the duties entrusted to her.

Anita Devi, a distinguished Member of Parliament from the Janamat Party, has assumed the crucial position of General Administration Minister, signifying her dedication to public service and governance.

The event witnessed the esteemed presence of several eminent figures, including Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, Speaker Devraj Ghimire, and Speaker of the National Assembly Ganesh Prasad Timilsina. Sike Raut, the President of the Janamat Party, was also in attendance, alongside distinguished officials holding key positions within the Constitutional Bodies, Chief Secretary, Chief of Security, and other dignitaries.
