President Paudel Urges Unified Commitment for National Prosperity

President Ramchandra Paudel has called on all Nepalis to unite with renewed energy and commitment for the progress and prosperity of the nation.
Extending his best wishes on the occasion of New Year 2082, President Paudel emphasized the importance of the New Year as a time for reflection and resolution. “Nepalis mark the New Year as a moment to review the past, set life goals, and make fresh commitments for the days ahead,” he said in his message.
Highlighting the significance of the Bikram Sambat calendar, which he described as a Shaurya Sambat rooted in ancient Hindu tradition and Vedic chronology, the President noted that it symbolizes Nepal’s rich civilization, culture, and social values. “It reminds us of our glorious past and motivates us to strive for a prosperous future,” he said.
President Paudel stressed the need to focus on the development of key sectors such as agriculture, tourism, and water resources to achieve national prosperity. Expressing hope for a brighter future, he said the New Year should inspire everyone to become more democratic, just, and result-oriented.
