Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has revealed his plans to visit South Korea in the near future. The announcement came as he bid farewell to a joint expedition team, comprising three Nepali climbers and seven Korean mountaineers, who are set to summit Mt Jugal to mark the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Nepal and South Korea.
During the event, PM Dahal stated, “I have received an invitation to visit the Republic of Korea, and I will be heading there soon.” He further reflected on his discussions with Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, emphasizing the strengthening of bilateral relations and extending support during the UN Convention.
“President Yoon has extended an invitation for me to visit South Korea,” Dahal affirmed. He added that arrangements for the visit are underway and expressed confidence that it will materialize soon.
