Protester Succumbs to Injuries from Police Firing in Lalitpur

In a somber turn of events, one person has lost their life as a result of police firing in Lalitpur. The incident occurred during a protest led by youths expressing their grievances over the Employment Permit System (EPS) examination.

The situation escalated in Balkumari when law enforcement officers opened fire in response to a demonstration, which ensued after the vehicle of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Minister Prakash Jwala was set ablaze.

The victim, a male protester, sustained injuries from the police firing and was admitted to Kist Hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, the hospital authorities have confirmed his demise during the course of medical intervention. The identity of the deceased is yet to be disclosed.
