Decision on vote counting in three districts soon: Spokesperson Sharma
The Election Commission has said it will take decision about vote counting in Dolakha, Bajura and Syangja districts soon.
The vote count of the November 20 election in these districts was halted owing to disputes among political parties’ representatives and candidates contesting the recently held election.
Commission’s Spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Poudel shared that the Commission had sent teams in those three districts to look into the matter and decision on this matter would be taken after studying the report those teams submit.
Sharma reiterated, “The Commission will take decision on matters relating to vote counting in Dolakha, Bajura and Syangja districts soon and for that some process should be followed.”
Out of 165 constituencies in HoR, results of 157 have come out so far, the Commission said.
