Govt accords priority to good governance, economic reset: Minister Gurung
Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, has said the government formed after the agreement between Nepali Congress and CPN UML had accorded top priority to reform in governance and national economy.
Minister Gurung who arrived in his home district after he became minister was felicitated by the Madhyanepal municipal committee, UML today.
During the felicitation programme, Minister Gurung commented that development could not gain pace as per expectation for not having stable government.
He urged all sides concerned to concentrate to bringing reform in governance and economy.
The Minister also claimed that public trust was growing in present government, so it warrants effective delivery. “There is no luxury to the government to become a failure,” he reminded.
According to him, Ministry was planning to ensure free internet facility to all community schools.
On the occasion, municipal committee chair Suman Shrestha wished successful tenure to Minister Gurung.
Even the office bearers of committee, party cadres and locals garlanded and offered shawls to Minister in his honour.
