State Honours, National Recognition, and Public Holiday for Nembang’s Final Rites

The government has decided to perform last rites of Chairperson of the Constituent Assembly, Subas Nembang, with state honours.

During a cabinet meeting held at the office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers today, the government extended sorrow over the demise of leader Nembang and expressed condolences to the bereaved family members.

The government took the decision to give national honour in recognition of his contribution in constitution making process, said Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Sudan Kirati.

It also decided to give public holiday on the day the final rites of Chairperson Nembang will be performed. CA Chairperson Nembang died this morning due to heart attack.
